We at Cat Hospital Eastern Shore are dedicated to total client satisfaction by providing you and your cats with our exceptional standards in feline medicine and surgery.  We have chosen to serve only feline patients so that we may concentrate and excel in this vital area of veterinary medicine.  As with human medicine, veterinary medicine is constantly changing and evolving, and by specializing in cats, we can continue to stay on the cutting edge and help set the standards of feline medicine.  The CHES team recognizes and shares the bond that exists between you and your cat.  No two people or cats are alike.  With that in mind, we care for each client and each cat individually, with the goal of good health in a long lasting and happy association.  We invite you to play an active role in helping design the best possible health plans for your cat.

The CHES staff believes in the total health care of our patients.  The best way to accomplish this is to have regular veterinary visits.  The importance of an annual examination cannot be overstated.  Our cats age at a faster rate than we humans do, which makes the annual physical exam especially important to detect and address health problems before they get out of control.  We have greatly reduced the frequency of vaccinations.  During the annual exam, instead of vaccines, you may notice that we recommend drawing blood for baseline levels, to make sure that we identify problems as soon as they occur.  Starting at around 7 or 8 years of age, we recommend a complete blood count, chemistry profile, urinalysis, thyroid tests, blood pressure monitoring, heartworm testing, and viral testing for cats at risk.  Feel free to ask us questions at any time on how to establish a health care program that is perfect for your cat.

CHES is certified by the American Animal Hospital Association as a Feline Specialty Hospital.  To remain accredited by this prestigious organization, we must continue to maintain the highest standards of medicine, surgery, record keeping, services provided, and continuing education.  We are very proud to have achieved this certification.

CHES is located on Route 50 at Skipton Landing Road in Cordova, MD, at 12551 Ocean Gateway.  We are approximately 6 miles north of Easton, and 2.5 miles south of Route 404.  We are the Eastern Shore’s only veterinary hospital devoted exclusively to cats! (See Map)
